Florida F Chaney transfers to Va. Tech (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Suspended Florida backup forward Allan Chaney has transferred to Virginia Tech. Hokies coach Seth Greenberg announced Chaney's transfer Tuesday. Chaney must sit out the 2009-10 season under NCAA transfer rules and would have three years of eligibility remaining. In March, Florida coach Billy Donovan suspended Chaney for the remainder of the season for undisclosed reasons.
