Alabama to pay Grant $1.8M per year (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

New Alabama basketball coach Anthony Grant will receive a seven-year deal worth nearly $2 million annually. The university released details of the contract Thursday that shows Grant will make $1.8 million a year. The deal must be approved by the Board of Trustees' Compensation committee. Alabama hired its first black head coach of the men's basketball team last month.
