Salukis search for new women's basketball coach (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Southern Illinois women's basketball coach Dana Eikenberg is resigning. The school's athletics director said Eikenberg is stepping down after five seasons with the Salukis. Her resignation takes effect Thursday. Eikenberg inherited a program in 2004 that had finished in the bottom three of the conference seven straight seasons.
