Oklahoma's Thompson on track to play vs. Pitt (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Oklahoma forward Amanda Thompson's injured left foot is improving, and coach Sherri Coale believes she's on schedule to return when the top-seeded Sooners face Pitt on Sunday in the regional semifinals of the NCAA tournament. Thompson, who is Oklahoma's starting small forward, was held out of practice Thursday and wore a boot as she took shots at the end of practice.
