NC Central promotes Moton to head coach (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

North Carolina Central has promoted assistant basketball coach LeVelle Moton to the head job. The school on Wednesday gave one of its top players from the mid-1990s a five-year deal that will pay him $100,000 annually, effective April 1. Moton joined former coach Henry Dickerson's staff two years ago.
