Brittainey Raven had a season-high 26 points to help No. 17 Texas beat Central Michigan 94-83 on Monday in the opening round of the Miami Wyndham Holiday Tournament. Raven also had 10 rebounds and Ashley Gayle finished with 11 points and a career-high 13 boards for Texas (8-3), which outrebounded the Chippewas 50-34.
