Jacinta Monroe scored 14 points to lead No. 12 Florida State to a 78-50 victory over Alcorn State on Sunday. The Seminoles (8-0) held the Braves (0-5) to 27.3 percent shooting from the field and blocked eight shots, including five by Monroe. Alcorn State stayed close early, but Florida State outscored the Braves 17-6 over a 6:22 span in the first half to pull away.
