Fordham women retire No. 55 (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Fordham retired the jersey of former Rams basketball star Anne Gregory on Saturday during halftime of a game against Rider. Gregory's No. 55 is only the second number to be raised to the rafters at Rose Hill, joining Fordham men's star Ed Conlin. Gregory had 2,548 points and 1,999 rebounds from 1976-80, and helped the Rams to a 91-36 record.
