Oklahoma's Hand out for season with knee injury (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Oklahoma starting guard Whitney Hand will miss the rest of the basketball season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in her right knee. Hand suffered the injury Friday during the first half of a win over San Diego State in the Paradise Jam in the U.S. Virgin Islands. She underwent an MRI on Monday morning that revealed the extent of the injury.
