Izzo ties Michigan State record for wins (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Tom Izzo won his 340th game at Michigan State, tying the school record for victories in the No. 2 Spartans' 90-60 win over Valparaiso on Sunday. Izzo shares the record with mentor Jud Heathcote, who was to be inducted into the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame on Sunday night, along with his best player, Earvin "Magic" Johnson.
